As this is my third year doing NaNo, I can definitively say what is normal for me and what is not as far as this event goes. What is not normal is my crazy word counts in one sittings as I've been doing. Although I live very close to the infamous Cabrini Green public housing projects, I haven't witnessed a ton of crime in the three years I've lived in my condo.
